Catherine was a warm, loving and wonderful lady. She was fun to be around and we have many happy memories of visiting her house when my family (Corcoran's) would visit. We will miss her greatly.
If anyone has ever driven in a car with my Grandma, they know she always floors the gas, then jams on the brakes, ...and repeats. Stop signs were also optional. Good times. Love ya Grandma.
A memory that has always stayed with me was when my brother Dan and I were under 10. Grandma took us to the beach and she didn’t like to get her hair wet. She would either stand on the shore and watch us or would go in the ocean but never under the waves. The three of us were talking and laughing in the water and a rogue wave came out of the blue..... Dan and I tumbled and got tossed around. Grandmas hair was soaking wet and dripping with seawater. We all had a huge laugh that day.
