LaValle, William J. of Bellmore NY on December 12, 2018 at 96 years of age. Dear husband of Elizabeth (nee Underwood) for 64 years. Beloved father of Margaret M. LaValle Ogonowski Hatch (William), John W. (Kathleen Wiltsey), Kenneth LaValle, Esq. , William J. (Rita), James (Donna) and Dennis (Jeanne). Cherished by his grandchildren Laura, Caroline, Mary, Stacey, Constantine, Whitney, James and Jack. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his five sisters, two brothers and a son-in-law, John Ogonowski who died in the terrorist attacks on 9/11 He was the son of Sicilian Immigrants. A graduate of St. John's University Law School, a Lieutenant in the Navy having served in the Pacific Theater. Visiting at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue Merrick today from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas R.C. Church on Friday the 14th at 9:45AM. Burial with Navy Honors at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY.
