Dearest Abbott
You are so deeply present in our hearts at this time of unbearable sorrow.
All who knew Abbott realized, without a single doubt, that he was an incredibly “good man.” He was a man who, almost flawlessly, embodied devotion, loyalty and kindness. And all of our mourning hearts are, and forever will be, embraced and guided by his far-reaching understanding of acceptance and forgiveness.

Abbott was my big brother, being #2 of 5 other siblings in our family.
Abbott was always in the garage with his modified race car and car
buddies. He was beyond smart, even as a kid he could build and assemble
anything. Abbott was very generous and kind. He bought my first car
after my other siblings left home. It was just him and I left and he
always filled my car gas. One year he bought me the best birthday
gifts, just because. He bought my plane ticket to come home from Alaska.
If you had a problem he just knew and was always there to listen, help
solve whatever it was.
I remember my mother in the living ironing Abbott’s shirts for work. If
you asked what he did for a living he would respond, “I can’t tell you
or I would have to kill you”. No joke.
After several long years of being apart we were finally reunited only to
have him leave us too soon. I love you Abbott the rabbit and I will
miss my big brother. Now whose going to save me now from Craig?

Abbott I am going to write some of mommys words to you. You were her easy child to raise. You were her good boy. You always enjoyed who ever the baby was at the time, and you being the second born there were many of them. You would say to mommy "Abbey Pam" and that meant that you wanted to play with me. You were the child who would take things apart to see how they worked. You took your tricycle apart and had no problem putting it back together again. You were always fasinated with tools. As a very young boy you took a hammer and broke the glass windows in the door, mommy couldn't stop you cause you were enjoying yourself so much and wasn't doing any harm to any one. As you got older you built the flintmobile and drove it all over the yard, destroying the lawn, again she couldn't stop you cause you were having so much fun and not doing anyone harm. Uou Doug Al and all the other guys took over the double garage and part of the basement to build the race car. Both mommy and daddy never stopped you cause the only one you were annoying was the nasty neighbor. When mommy had her stroke that is when you realized that mommy had straight hair. Abbott you held and always will hold such a special place in mommy's heart. I know she just wishes she could give you her last hug and kiss goodbye. Mommy loves you so much and just because you have left this world always know that you will always be in her heart and thoughts. Abbott we all loved you and looked up to you.
