Loving father of Carol Carter, Edward J., Jr. with his wife Jeanette. Predeceased by his son-in-law Vincent Carter. Beloved grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 7.
Retired NYPD Motorcycle 3 GCP, a WWII Navy Seabees Veteran and a member of the Riverhead Knights of Columbus.
Visiting at N. F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick on Thursday Oct. 11 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass at Cure of Ars R.C. Church 2323 Merrick Ave., Merrick on Friday Oct. 12, 2018 at 10AM. Burial with Navy Honors at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY.
