Dear father of Jim (Trish), Chris (Jodi) and Tom (Stacey).
Beloved grandfather of Jimmy, Megan, Brian, Nicole, Daniel, Michael and Ryan.
He is a Air Force Veteran who served from 1950 to 1954 and is a Retired Detective from the Nassau County Police Department.
Mr. Simmons was a member of the Seaford American Legion.
Visiting at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday the 27th from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
Funeral Mass at Cure of Ars R.C. Church, 2323 Merrick Ave. Merrick on Saturday July 28th at 10am.
Burial at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
