George Helmuth Bolan, age 75 whom resided in Lynbrook, NY died at his home on January 30, 2018.He leaves behind his God-Daughter Adirana Caroline Khan as well as many friends that truly cared for him. George was born and raised in Ozone Park, NY. He attended John Adams High School. Upon receiving his diploma, George went to work for the Telephone Company later known as AT&T for 29 years in various roles including Project Management. George continued his career at Columbia Univ. as Manager of the Telecommunications Department for 19 years until his retirement. George enjoyed Running, beer, rock culture and music, film and movies, driving, German and Irish Festivals and Traveling in the city, state and country from his local hangout spots such as Lederhosen, Peculier Pub, Zum Schneider to Bear and Hunter Mountain to Alaska, Florida and Williamsburg VA. Mostly George enjoyed spending time with his closest friends at gatherings and having all our families together to share happiness and joy.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, February 3 from 3-6pm at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
