Words can hardy express what Linda meant to me. Since meeting her on our first day of college in 1970, she was the greatest of friends and one of finest people I have ever known. I will remember her peaceful nature, her beautiful smile, her joyous and fun-loving spirit and her ability to really listen and understand people. My sincerest sympathy and love to all of you, her family, as her sudden death certainly makes us all reflect on things not said or done with those we love. I took Linda's place at St. Brigid's in January 1979 when she left on maternity leave for Jennifer.I have seen her only a few times since then, but I still remember her wonderful smile. Dear Mike, Michael, Jennifer, and Amy,
I am shocked and saddened by this sudden loss of Linda. 47 years ago this September, she and I forged a lifelong connection starting as complete strangers thrown together alphabetically to become roommates at Brockport.
We had such fun and enjoyed our time together immensely. She was a wonderful, wonderful person who was proud every day of her family and loved everyone of you immensely.

Our shock at Linda's passing is beyond words. We haven't stopped thinking of your family and this terrible loss. Linda played a major role in the creation of the tremendous closeness that you have as a family; it is this very same closeness that will, now, give you the strength you need to accept such a catastrophic event. I will dearly miss our regular FB exchanges (as recent as Friday); we were always admiring each other's post-able events, especially regarding our grandchildren. Although we saw each other in person, infrequently (once a year, maybe), we could always strike up a conversation as if we were old friends. Linda was an easy conversationalist and comfortable company. Her even keeled disposition and caring personality are a couple of Linda's traits that I'll always remember. Deeply sorrowed by Linda's early passing, we send our love and prayers.
