I am so sorry to hear about Maria's passing. I lived next door to Maria and Al. Maria was my friend and a grandmother to me. Every May Maria helped me plant my impatiens in the walkway. She made me soup and pasta and meatballs. When I was going away she watched over my home and if picked up by a limo she would stand on the deck and waive to me. A better neighbor, friend and grandmother I couldn't have. God Bless you Maria! I know you are divinely happy with our Lord in heaven. I know I will see you again. Till then,,, Rest In Peace.

Dear Imondi Family,
I just became aware that Mrs. Imondi passed away in February. I am so sorry for you all, but I hope you find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her daughter Elizabeth. (Liz to me). I knew Anthony from Rosedale, and I worked with Liz as far back as 1970. I had the pleasure of getting to know Maria when she moved to Merrick. She was a wonderful person (and a darn good seamstress). As the years went by, I got to know most of the rest of the family, and it was so obvious that your Mom loved you as you loved her. My prayers are with all of you as you continue to heal.
Mary

Dear Mr. Imondi, Mike, Tony and Dave,
We wish you and your families our most sincere sympathy and prayers. We shared many wonderful memories over the 50+ years we have known each other. I remember those delicious Sunday afternoon pasta dinners, and feared that big wooden spoon. Your Wife and Mom was a very caring person. Now she joins the Lord at His dinner table in peace.
We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Diane and Vinnie Carey

I have only seen my Aunt Mary a few times in the past 20 years, but she occupies a huge space in my heart, and I am very sorry to hear about her passing. She was one of the most important people in my childhood, and made it very clear to me what a young man should act like (she and Nonna Vittoria were a great team in that way). I have much love for her, and will miss her greatly. My condolences to my Uncle Al (who I also hold very dearly), my cousins and their families.

Uncle Al, Michael, Anthony, David,
I still recall the fabulous times at Valley Street-playing in the "Sand-Bank", and the kindness of "Aunt Maria". Her smile, and her "Veal & Peppers" will always stay with me. My Mom sends her sincerest condolences, as do Barbara and I. I'm sure that Elizabeth was there to welcome her into eternal peace and happiness. May you and your Families do the same someday. Love,
Gene
