Demars, Ellen J. (nee Campbell) of Merrick, LI on November 16, 2016 at 95 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Robert.
Dear Mother of the late Robert J. and his wife Grace M. (nee Andreoli).
She was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of Merrick Hook and Ladder serving in various capacities, the South Nassau Hospital Auxiliary working in the Thrift Shop for many years and she was also involved with the Senior Center of Merrick.
She was an avid bridge player and hosted her bridge group often.
She was devoted to her family and friends, all of whom brought her many years of joy, happiness and celebration.
Ellen will always be remembered for her loving commitment to her faith and family.
Visiting N.F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick Friday the 18th 6-9pm.
Mass at Cure of Ars Church 2323 Merrick Ave. Sat. Nov. 19, 2016 at 10am.
Burial in St. John Cemetery, Queens NY.
