I only know Joe from meeting him once years ago during a backstage tour at the Met. His love of his work; his love of the Met; his love shone through and I have never forgotten him. Today, watching Turandot on an HD Live production from Maine, I noticed the tee-shirts, of course. And I was saddened to hear of his passing. Rest in peace, Joe.

I knew Joe from Little Flower parish since I was 16. Kept up with him on FB. He was an amazingly nice huyband had a great sense of humor. By his posts he so loved his family. Proud BUWS teammate of Mary Green.... I told her this earlier today but will share again. Many parents probably had no idea who I was because I didn't see many game minutes. Mr. Green ALWAYS chatted with me.... "Hi Monty" and told me "good game". It was always so great running into him after wins and even losses because he always made me laugh. I'll never forget hearing him "Arf Arf" from the bleachers. Fortunately we kept in touch via Facebook the past five or six years. I have never met anyone more proud of his family.
