Karen A. McCann, age 61, of Merrick died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Nassau University Medical Center of East Meadow, NY. Mrs. McCann was born in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of George and Cora (Jemmot) Heide. She married Gerard McCann.
She operated Heide Karen's Salon, E. Meadow NY.
She is survived by her husband: Gerard McCann , two daughters: Cora Wortmann, Karenann Wortmann and one son: Christopher Hieronymus; ;
She is Predeceased by her Son, Jeffrey.
She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Kelly, Steven, Michael, Alexander and Lauren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, September 12 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Cremation will be Private.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
