Charles C. Russo, age 89, of Toms River NJ died on August 5, 2015. He served in the Navy during World War II from 09/20/43 to 12/20/45. He was Manhattan Borough Supervisor.. Beloved husband of Caroline Russo. Devoted father of Charles Russo, Robert Russo, Thomas Russo Margaret Schanker. Loving step father of Anne Marie Crociata, Ralph Stark, Jerry Stark and Herman Stark. Grandfather of 22 and Great Grandfather of three. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Monday, August 10 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY . Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton with Navy Honors. Visiting will be Saturday, August 8 from 2-4&7-9PM and Sunday, August 9 from 2-4&7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home ., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. .
