Isaiah 55:12
"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap."
Kurt Vonnegut said, “Goodbye is the emptiest yet fullest of all human messages.” So maybe it’s best to forget that word. Perhaps gratitude is a better emotion.
Gratitude for a friendship that spanned almost 48 years, crossing two centuries and two different cities: New York and San Diego.
My schoolmate, my maid of honor at my wedding…. my best and closest friend. Angela brought out the best in anyone she met, including me. Together, our creativity, imaginations, spontaneity and love of life blossomed and complemented each other. The memories of her friendship, loyalty, and love are priceless and many.
Angela, know that you were appreciated, loved and will be remembered.
To Louis, Alicia, Joy, Paul, and family: I wish you comfort and peace at this time. My prayers are with all of you.
