Cyril J. Deere, age 95, of 1535 Hendrickson Avenue, Merrick died Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hospice Inn of Melville, NY. Mr. Deere was born July 9, 1919 in England, .
WW ll Army Veteran. 35 Year Volunteer as a Deputy Inspector for Nassau County Aux. Police.
He was the owner of Deere Dental in Merrick New York.
Devoted husband of the late Marguerite. Devoted father of John (Maxine), the late Francis, Marguerite Dorsa ( late Timothy), Eleonore Griffin (John), William (Margaret) and Robert (Sandra). Loving Grandfather of 13 and Great Grandfather of 4.
Funeral Mass Monday December 29 at 9:45AM at Sacred Heart RC Church 720 Merrick Avenue North Merrick. Interment Long Island National Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Sunday, December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
Donations to Hospice Inn in Melville or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
