Robert Christopher Leimbach, Sr. passed on November 4th in Oceanside, NY. He is a long standing resident of Merrick the past 54 years. He is survived by his dear wife Lois. His loving children are: his daughter Linda Nelson with her children Caitlin (Derek), Amanda, Craig and Scott; his daughter Carol Hawkins (Ken) and their children Lauren, Chris, Bryan (Ariel); his daughter Leslie Connolly with her children Mark and Kyle; his son Robert Jr. (Margaret) and their children Ryan and Timothy; his son Peter and his children Casey, Riley and Haley. He is a proud Korean War Air Force Veteran having served from 1951 to 1953. Visitation at N. F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave Merrick Sunday the 9th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Services at Community Presbyterian Church 2101 William Place in Merrick Monday the 10th at 10am. Burial will be at Calverton national Cemetery, Calverton NY.
