Joanne Icholnyk, age 67, of 163 Frankel Blvd., Merrick died Friday, October 31, 2014 at South Nassau Communities Hospital. Mrs. Icholnyk was born April 4, 1947 in New York, NY. She was predeceased by her husband the, Late Edward Icholnyk .
She was a cashier at Stop And Shop, Bellmore, NY .
She is survived by two daughters: Nicole Striga of East Northport, NY, Joanne Hart; of Wantagh. Dear sister of Larry Weil; Dear mother in law of Alex Striga and Keith Hart.
Loving grandmother of Sean, Ava and Logan.
A Funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 4 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 369 Greene Street, East Meadow, , NY with the Rev. Martin Kraus officiating. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, November 3 from 2-4 7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
