Obituary of Peter J. Saporito

Saporito, Peter J. on March 30, 2014 of Merrick NY. Loving husband of the late Ann. Dear father of Dianne Kessler and her husband Ira and their children Stephan Munch and his wife Sarah, Jodi Jeran and her husband Chris and the late Donna Munch; the late Russell; Jeffrey Saporito and his children Mary and Paul. Peter is also survived by his great grandchildren Logan and Orian Newkirk and Caden and Reid Jeran and his dear brother Dan. Peter Saporito was a WWII Army Aircorp Veteran having held an officer's rank. He was a B24 Co-pilot, after his discharge he was an aircraft design engineer having worked on the development of Crew Station design for all Fairchild-Republic aircraft produced between 1946 to 1986 including the F84, F105 and the A10. He retired from Aerospace in 1986. Visiting at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick Tuesday April 1 2-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass at Cure of Ars R.C. Church Wednesday the 2nd at 11:15am. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale NY
