Great Grandfather of Kristin and Katelyn McCarty, Christopher and Erin Convey and Ryan Mac Melville.
Also survived by his brother Richard and his wife June and sister-in-law Marjorie.
Served in the Army Air Corps during WWII attaining the rank of Captain.
Owner of Foremost-Friedman Tea Company.
Dedicated member and 60 year Elder of Community Presbyterian Church in Merrick.
Visiting at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home ( www.nfwalkerfh.com) 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick Thursday 6 to 9pm and Friday 11:30am to 1pm.
Services at Community Presbyterian Church 2101 William Place on Saturday April 23 at 10AM.
Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn NY.
