Robert J. Wisniewski, Sr., age 67, of Merrick, Formerly Lynbrook, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at IPU Hospice - Meadowbrook Care Cnt of Freeport, NY. Mr. Wisniewski was born in 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of Joseph and Maria (Perrotta) Wisniewski.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia (Ratkliffe) Wisniewski and one daughter: Deborah and her husband Marc and Son, Robert J. Wisniewski, Jr. and his wife Shannon. His grandchildren are Nick, Joey, Marc Jr. and Brian.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1966 and finished with the Navy Reserves in 1968. He was employed by Con Edison Company, Brooklyn NY as a Supervisor.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, July 20 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury on Friday, July 20 at 12:30 pm.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
