It all started at Kelly's Irish Bar next to Community Gardens in Queens Village. That's when I met Ronnie trying to pick up Carol. He was persistent. We her girlfriends didn't want to lose our pal! Alas he got his Bride the Love of his life. The wedding was beautiful as well as the Bride and her handsome blond Groom who always would tease me with his sense of humor.

Ron was rough on the outside but really a caring sensitive man who always was welcoming and generous. Will miss his presence here in Florida and when I visit the Hricay's B&B.
May he rest in the arms of Christ. He will be in my prayers always and especially when before the Holy Eucharist.

May Ronald rest in peace. I'm going to miss him, and especially his sense of humor, he always cracked me up. He was a great man, i looked up to him and admired his work ethic. He always had a smile on his face and everybody loved him. He was taken from us way to soon.

My condolences Scott and your mom Mrs. Hricay. I knew Hricay since 1992. I always enjoyed my time at the shop talking to him. The news hit me in my heart. Last time I spoke to him was a couple of months ago at the shop. Since, I'm getting up there in age, I was talking to him about how this life is short. He told me George enjoy your life while you are able to move around. We laughed. He was always a joy to be around. I will definitely miss Hricay and my time with him.

On this sad day, I look back at all the times I sat and shared quiet moments with this great man. Great sense of humor and always pleasant to be around him, I knew him as Slick Rick, that was just a joke between me and Rick. He was old school and someone who believed in hard work and respecting true family values. It was just the other day I was hanging out front of the shop, like always, we greeted each other and of course we joked like always. I had no idea, this would be the last time I would see or hear his voice. The first picture I posted here was sent to him on Fatherś Day. I don´t know if he ever saw the picture!? I wanted him to know that I respected him and I knew he was a great father and a great husband. I pray that he is resting and at peace. He will be missed by me and many who knew him. I pray that everyone both in family and friends will come together and share all the great memories you may have of him. R.I.P.
