Nancy Hertwig of East Quogue, NY (formerly of North Merrick, NY) passed away peacefully on Friday April 26, 2024 surrounded by family at Southampton Hospital. Devoted wife of 47 years to the late Frank. Loving mother of Donna (the late Vincent), Frank (Toni), James (Lauren), and Craig (Vera). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Jessi, Taylor, James, Ethan, Claudia, Michaela, Craig, Blake, and Luke.

Nancy grew up in Island Park, NY. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the North Merrick Fire Department and St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Nancy spent the last 8 years of her life residing in the beautiful Hamptons living close to family where she enjoyed many Sunday family dinners, holidays, parties, softball games, and dance recitals.
