I met Finn at my 'work corner' in the beginning of September 2020 on my 1st day of work. He graciously "filled me in" from where to park my car lol, ("I'll tell the owners," he said) to 'who was who' at Shamrocks. Finn was always generous, giving me a container of his homemade, most delicious split pea soup in the winters, offering me a cup of ice water on extremely hot Fall/Spring days as he'd come in & out of the bar. My family & I also enjoyed his homegrown tomatoes that he shared with so many. I will miss his 'Hi/ Bye Jo' as he would raise his hand up as well or sometimes he'd say to me, "come on Jo, do your job and cross me across the street to my car!" LOL I knew about his immediate family & when he had to get home to help watch his grandson. HUGS to his family & prayers for strength to live on and keep sharing memories. Crossing Guard Jo Ann P

Growing up together in our neighbourhood was great. We called it the Maze. There was at least 10 of us who were like brothers. We were together from 1st grade thru 12th grade. We did everything together. I was also lucky enough to get to share a career with him in the electrical industry. Claudia and I were lucky enough to have Candy and Finny in our wedding party. Before the children came Candy,Finny,,Anita,James,Claudia and myself had a ritual of playing hearts. To this day we still have the score sheets. Also So many memories of the great parties our friends had. I wasn’t the fisherman that finny was but I loved to hear the stories, especially the shark tournament ones. One thing is true you could always count on him. We might not talk for a while but when ever he was needed for electrical or sprinkler help he would come right over and help me fix any problem. There are so many more stories I could say about all of us growing up together. He will be so greatly missed by me,Claudia and all our friends. Until we meet up again my brother. Love and miss you!

I remember when Uncle Tom and Aunt Marie asked my mother to be your God Mother she was absolutely thrilled! She bought a new dress and a new hat and wore a mink stole...she looked so beautiful! She was so honored to be your God Mother! A few years later my mother and I made yet another trip to your house this time was to babysit...I was always so happy to be with my cousins! At lunchtime my mother was pouring drinks for everyone but was short one glass as luck would have it there was one sitting on the counter & she filled it for herself...about 3/4 of the way through she heard screams, "Aunt Anne that's Finny's Pee-Pee Jar"!!! She said that's OK it adds to the flavor!
Sooo many memories Finny thank you for all of them!
Love You With All My Heart ❤️
