Anthony "Sonny" Cataldo

11/30/1934-1/16/2024

A man full of love and laughter, with a passion to share, help and guide all he know- family and friends alike.

Sonny was born in Brooklyn, NY, where he started a civil service employment with NYS Sanitation Dept. Then in 1962, on his wife's birthday, he began a career in FDNY of over 33 years. He retired in March of 1995 as the originating officer in Squad Company 1.

Anthony is survived by his wife Rosalie, his daughter Jean and Son in law Steve Hamel and his son Anthony Jr. Also 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th cousins, many nieces, nephews and life long friends.

His smile, singing, cooking and advice on life will surely be missed!

Sonny is now first due to our Lord Jesus. May you rest in eternal peace.
