Edward Bennett of Merrick, NY, passed away on March 21st, at the age of 90. He leaves behind his wife, Cheryl Bennett, 5 children Audrey Schein, Thomas Bennett (Jaana), Matthew Bennett, Susan Bennett and Alison Ragde (Martin) and seven grandchildren Charlie, Mike, Julia, Matt, Nick, Lauren and Caroline. Ed was predeceased by his first, dear wife Anne Bennett, and his brother, Michael Bennett.

Born and raised in Greenpoint Brooklyn, Ed came from humble beginnings. He went on to graduate from St John's Law School and had an illustrious 40 year career at JP Morgan, where he was known for his intelligence, quick wit and generosity of spirit. He was a friend to all and mentor to countless many. Beloved by his family, friends and colleagues, Ed will be remembered as one of the smartest, funniest and kindest men they were blessed to have known. He was truly a class act and will be dearly missed.
