Jeanette Dwyer, born in Brooklyn in 1930, died December 26, 2022 at the age of 92.
She leaves behind her daughter Kathleen, son-in-law Michael, sister Carolyn, her cat Violet and grand-dog Keegan. Daniel, her son, died in 2013.
She worked for the Town of Hempstead for 37 years, retiring at the age of 87.
Jeanette was always young at heart and had a passion for spending time with her daughter (who was her best friend), going to rock concerts and enjoying fine dining. She always proud to display the tattoos that she got later in life.
She was best described for her generosity, feistiness and fierce independence.
She will be deeply missed. Memorial services will be held privately by the family.
