I was so sorry to hear about Mary Lou's passing. I just heard about it today. I knew Mary Lou as the close friend of Elaine Lilli, who was my junior "sister" at SHA. Mary Lou was always warm, friendly and kind to me. I am wishing her family love and the warmth of their wonderful memories of her. God bless.

My beloved cousin, marylou was my first cousin on my fathers side. Her father was the oldest of three brothers and my father Kenneth was the middle son!! We were both the only children of our parents and therefore very close since childhood. Our paternal grandmother, Lula, was always who marylou acted like all her life…. A strong woman who got things done! I shall miss her dearly, she was a beautiful, “ patriotic” lover of life!!

I met Mary Lou when I was 18. We were friends at first laugh. We loved each other through graduations, marriages, children, divorce and the loss of loved ones. We shared a love for the OBX and Krispy Kreme donuts. She brought joy to all and loved her roles as wife, mother, friend, church volunteer and teacher. I will miss her dearly. Sweet sister, Mary Lou. Can’t imagine life without you! I am so thankful that I could call you sister all my life. I am thankful I was part of watching your precious children grow up.
