Obituary of Dennis V. Lech

Please share a memory of Dennis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dennis Valentine Lech 11-21-41 Manchester, NJ Born in New York in 1941 to Valentine and Sophia, Dennis grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A true New Yorker through and through, Dennis loved his city and the Brooklyn Dodgers almost as much as his family. His wife, two daughters, two sons in law, and his five grandchildren meant the world to him. Dennis met his wife Veronica in 1958 at a baseball game at Boy's High Field where he was pitching for his CYO team from Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They were married in 1964 and eventually had two daughters: Valentina (married to Robert Marino) and Jennifer (married to Michael Fazio). He was always there to cheer on his five grandchildren, Alexandra, Julia, Victoria, Maria and Michael, at whatever they were taking part in. According to him – his greatest accomplishment was his family. Dennis was loved by many for his giving, selfless ways and would always be ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was an avid sports fan, reader, traveler, car washer, and whistler. He will be missed by everyone that he ever came into contact with. He will forever be remembered and loved.
