Obituary of Irving William Halleran

Irving William Halleran lovingly known as "Bill" of North Merrick NY died on December 9th, 2011. Bill is a Navy Veteran and a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Marie (Nee Ely). He also leaves behind his dear children William D. and his wife Betty, Frank who is pre-deceased by his dear wife Carol and Scott and his wife Linda. Bill is the grandfather of Tina Thomann, Bill Jr., Rick, Beth, Tom, Elizabeth, Scott Jr., and Emily; and Great Grandfather of Garrit, Emilee, Issac, Tanner, Brock, Caleb, Blake, Madison, Jessica and Felicia. Visitation hours are Saturday December 10th from 7 to 9pm and Sunday December 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
The Rev. Ann N. Morgan will conduct services at the Merrick Methodist Church on Monday the 12th at 11am. Burial services with Navy Honors will be at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY. In Bill's name donations may be made to American Legion Post 1282, 160 West Merrick Road, Merrick NY 11566 or to North Merrick Fire Department 2095 Camp Avenue, N. Merrick NY 11566
