Eugene A. Gelaro, age 95, died Monday, January 20, 2020. Predeceased by his wife, Gloria, and his daughter-in-law, Glynnis.
Beloved father to Susan, Jamie and Ron; father-in-law to Lou and Alicia. Cherished grandfather to Gabrielle, Lauren, Joey, Lydia, Bryn and Peter. Devoted great-grandfather to Tess and Luca. Dear brother to Eleanor.
Eugene was born in Brooklyn on February 23, 1924. He was a proud WWII Air Force veteran and graduate of Pratt Institute. He was an accomplished artist and owner of Gamma Graphics Advertising Agency before his retirement. He enjoyed tennis, golf and bowling and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Most of all, he had great love for his family. He was always there for those he loved. He will be missed."
