Obituary of Jean Connolly

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Jean Connolly, a North Merrick resident and Sacred Heart parishioner from 1962 to 2015, passed away on June 11th, 2019, surrounded by her cherished family. She spent her last four years in Lynbrook at the Atria Tanglewood.

Jean is predeceased by her loving husband, John Joseph Connolly, who passed in 1978.

Thereafter she raised her four children on her own.

She is survived by her children Michael (Nancy), John, Lawrence (Andrea) and Angela Martino (Kent) and her grandchildren Jack and Aiden; Brian and Kristen; Sarah, Leah and Samantha Martino; Matthew and Chelsea.

Jean is also survived by her sister Rose Lalia and her twin sister Frances Biele.

She worked at Hofstra University as an Administrative Assistant.

Visitation at N.F. Walker, Inc. Thursday the 13th from 2-5 and 7-9PM.

Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church on Friday the 14th at 10AM.

Burial service will be at the Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale NY, following the Mass.

Donations in her memory will be appreciated and may be made to the American Heart Assocoation via
