Josephine S. Blasco, at the age of 98 years, of Roosevelt and North Merrick, passed peacefully in Stockbridge, GA on March 31st, 2019. 

Josephine is predeceased by her loving husband William Walter Blasco, Sr.

She is survived by her sons: James Henry Blasco of Stockbridge and William Walter Blasco, Jr. of Farmingville New York; grandchildren: Rachael Ann Blasco of North Merrick and Joseph Adam Blasco and his wife Joann of Selden NY and great grandchildren Joseph William Blasco and Gina Haily Blasco also of Selden NY..

She was born and raised in Westhaven, CT. She is also survived by her dear extended family of Westhaven, CT.

Josephine is predeceased by 8 siblings.

She volunteered at the Mercy Medical Center Thrift Shop and volunteered at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Food Pantry.

She is a retired School Crossing Guard in Roosevelt, NY.

A funeral mass will be held locally at The Queen of the Most Holy Rosary in Roosevelt, NY on Monday April 8th at 10AM. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead NY.
