William Frederick Rose, age 89, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Bristol Westbury of Westbury, NY. Mr. Rose was born in 1926 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late Lyle and the late Margaret (Marsden) Rose. He was predeceased by his wife, Caroline Horgen in 2015.
He served in the Navy during World War II from 11-15-44 to 6-21-46. He was employed by New York Telephone, NYNY as a(n) Engineeer.
He is survived by three daughters: Susan Theisen, Kathy Moran, and Nancy Capps
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, September 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 40 West Nicholia Street, Hicksville, NY with Rev. Gregory Dwyer officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn NY.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 23 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
