Cavanagh, Barbara Lee, beloved mother of Constance (Paul) Deering, Nancy (Jerry) Maliwesky and Sean (Joanne) Cavanagh, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 13,2013 at the age of 83. She is the daughter of the late Wendell Keith Howard and Velda Mae David Howard.

Barbara lived with family in Centerport, NY for over 40 years. She was predeceased by her husband, John Armstrong Cavanagh, and leaves her children; grandchildren Ian and Cathaline Deering, John (Jac) and Christian Cavanagh; nephews Keith, Sean and Evan Howard and niece Rhea Howard to treasure their memories of her. She was a fitness instructor, an avid runner and Senior Olympiad. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She will be missed by all who Knew her. Funeral services were private handled by N.F.
