On Friday, March 13, 2026, Daniel William Palmeri unexpectedly passed away at Penn Medicine.

Dan was born July 2, 1959, in Maspeth, Queens NY. He is the son of Joseph and Gladys Palmeri. Dan lived a life defined by devotion to his family, his faith and his profession. Dan’s work ethic started at a very young age. He was a proud eagle scout and carried those values throughout his life. He was a man of loyalty, kindness, compassion and integrity.  

Dan found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors, whether fishing, working in the yard, or grilling for family and friends. These moments reflected his deep appreciation for being surrounded by those he loved most.

Dan’s career was admirable as he worked up until his last day of life. Dan completed his career as a project manager for FIS; a company he had worked with for the last 10 years. Those who worked alongside him shared he was a kind, approachable, genuine and reliable colleague.

Dan was the epitome of a family man. He married the love of his life, Eileen, in April 1986. They went on to have four wonderful children. Dan devoted his entire life to making his family feel loved. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his four beautiful grandchildren. He was also a loving Uncle and Godfather.

Dan is survived by his devoted wife: Eileen Palmeri, their children: Brian Allen (Jennifer), Kadiann Bullard (Christopher), Daniel Palmeri and Richard Palmeri (Lauren); four grandchildren: Grace, Molly, Jackson and Declan; two sisters: Lynn and Lorie.

He is proceeded in death by his parents: Joseph and Gladys Palmeri.
