Patricia M. Crotty passed away peacefully at her home in East Meadow, NY on February 20, 2026. She was 92 years old.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Tom. Her parents John and Bridget King (nee O'Hanlon), her daughter Mary Regina and son Tom (survived by wife Joanne). As well as her sisters Mary, Rose, Kathleen and brother Jack.

Pat, as she was known, is survived by her sons Jim (Fran), John (Nancy) and Ken (Jennifer), her grandchildren Dan, Erin, Catherine (Rob), Anna (Matt), Maura, Sean, Caroline, Richard,Lauren, Jack, and many nieces and nephews

She was born on February 10, 1934 in Brooklyn NY. Growing up she enjoyed her time with her extended Irish family in the Bronx and Brooklyn and was a long-time member of St. Teresa's parish. Pat attended St. Teresa grammar school and Catherine McAuley High School in Brooklyn. After high school Pat worked as a secretary for Mobil Oil company in New York.

In 1956 she married the love of her life, Tom Crotty. In 1961 they left their beloved Brooklyn and moved to Merrick, Long Island. It was in Merrick they put down roots, raised their four sons and became active in Cure of Ars Parish, Cure of Ars School and Maria Regina High School. She and Tom were members of Hempstead Golf and Country Club. She enjoyed golfing with friends, special dinners with her family and all the social activities HGCC had to offer.

Pat was very committed to service and served as a lunch room monitor, member of the school board, Bingo team, President of the Cure Rosary Society, Consolation Minister, Eucharistic Minister, Volunteer at the Regina Residence and Alter Society.

Over the years, Pat developed many long-lasting friendships. Some go back to grammar school and high school. Clearly, she will be missed by her extended family and numerous friends who are grateful they were part of her journey.
