Douglas A. McCunn Obituary

Douglas A. McCunn of North Merrick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29th, at the age of 76. Doug was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Service serving for 6 years during the Viet Nam War. He was also an avid golfer, softball player and served as both President and secretary of the Canaan Pine Grove Association. Doug is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan, his beloved dog, Charlie, a brother and sister-in-law, David and Shirley, nephews, Stuart and Andrew, and numerous friends that he always considered his family. Doug's presence here will be missed by all, especially his humor and his kind and generous personality. Smooth sailing, Douglas.
