Nancy Elizabeth Dies passed unexpectedly on September 17, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 56 years, Clifford; their children Jennifer Shah with her husband Reggie, and Megan Parker with her husband Aaron.

Nancy was the proud grandmother of Anna Paulin, Aydin Shah, Ayla Shah, Judah Parker and Sadie Parker.

Mrs. Dies worked for the North Merrick Union Free School District for over 25 years, and retired from the District Clerk position in 2010.

She was a lover of animals, in particular her corgi, Teddy, and the assorted birds that visited her yard, including a neighbor's chicken. She loved taking her grandchildren on individual lunch dates and bringing them back home to play board games (even if she lost). The flowers that bloomed all over her yard were a great source of pride, and she loved working on the daily crossword.

Nancy was known for her sharp wit, and was loved by many. She will forever be missed by those that knew her.
