Kathy Becker passed away on August 24, 2025 at the age of 69. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was born on February 7, 1956 to Forrest & Shirley Wallace.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Chuck, her son Scott, daughter-in-law Jaime, grandchildren Mikayla & Luke, sister Susan (Mike) Giordano, sister in law Diane (Chris) Ialenti, nephew Michael (Amanda) Giordano, niece Kristen (Olivier) Herrera, niece Lauren (Jon) Ozner, niece Caitlin (Kyle) Keane, niece Pam Ialenti, niece Devon Ialenti (Sean Rivera), nephew Craig (Kathleen) Fletcher, niece Casey (Matt) Brooks, grandnephews and grandnieces Gavin, Dylan & Abby Giordano, Owen, Lila & Sophie Herrera, Nicholas & James Ozner, Brooks & Charlotte Keane, Keira & Isla Fletcher, Hayes & Scotlyn Brooks. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Nancy Fletcher.

She began her career as a certified registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care units at North Shore University Hospital followed by many years at Winthrop Hospital. Following her hospital work she worked the rest of her career as a Care at Home nurse case manager where she had the opportunity to work with many great families and watch the children grow. She loved spending time with her family at the beach especially Montauk! She never missed an event with her family and took pride in being a great Dance and Hockey Grandma! She enjoyed watching and cheering on the NY Rangers, even more so when attending the games with her family. She also never gave up on her childhood passion of horses, taking lessons with her son years ago and taking every opportunity to recruit new riding partners like her grandchildren to go trail riding as recently as this past spring. Many would also recognize her love for pictures as she made it her unofficial job to be the photographer everywhere she went.
