Lauren Collette Heaney currently of Barefoot Bay, FL – formerly of North Merrick, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025.

She is the loving daughter of Regina Heaney and the late Arthur T. Heaney.

Lauren is survived by her brothers Gregory and Christopher (Sara) and the late Michael.

She also leaves behind her dear nieces Caitlyn, Samantha and Jessica; and her uncle Dennis.

Lauren was an amazing role model to her loving nieces.

She is a graduate of Haverford College, class of 1996, in Haverford,, PA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology.

Her family will always remember her for her amazing smile, her quick wit, her fierce intelligence, for never complaining and for her compassion and passion to be helpful to those in need.
