Merrick, NY – Anne Marie Maiorana, mother of Nina Maiorana and late daughter Maryann Maiorana, mother-in-law to Victor Falci, life partner of Michael Marino, daughter of Barney and Maryann Rizzo, sister to Janine Siegel, aunt to Lindsey Siegel, great-aunt to Liana John, left us on the afternoon of June 27, 2025.

Her absence weighs heavily on our hearts, yet her memory remains a radiant blessing for all who knew her. She was the kind of person who made you feel seen and loved the moment you met her. Generous to a fault, with a kindness that knew no limits, she brought so much warmth to the world. She lit up every room she entered, truly the life of the party, and leaves behind memories of laughter, love, and endless compassion.

She cherished her daughters, best friends, sister, niece, and great-niece deeply and she was never happier than when she was surrounded by the people she loved. Her home was always open, her heart even more so, and she made everyone feel like family.

Anne Marie was more than kind; she was a source of comfort and strength for so many. With the passing of her daughter Maryann, she turned her pain into a guiding light to help others. Leading support groups, she offered not just words, but true understanding, creating spaces of healing, hope, and shared humanity.

Please join the family for a wake in honor of Anne Marie, to be held at N F Walker Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, on Wednesday, July 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

A Mass in celebration of Anne Marie's life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00 AM at The Parish Family of Curé of Ars, located at 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick.
