Bernadette A Jaeger 78, of Merrick, New York passed away on January 31, 2025 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family.

Bernadette was born in Brooklyn, New York to Bernard and Katherine Cream on July 30, 1946. She went to high school at St. Agnes in College Point and graduated in 1964. Bernadette worked at the North Merrick Public Library for more than 30 years and was an avid reader and enjoyed travel.

Bernadette is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Jaeger, of Merrick and children Michael Jaeger of Hicksville and Christine Jaeger Piscitelli (James) of Westbury and grandchildren Jay and Kate Piscitelli. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara McHugh (Patrick), Dan Cream and Patricia Falat (Jack) and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, Bernadette would be honored by a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
