Margaret "Peggy" Appel Obituary
Margaret H. Appel, (Peggy) 87 Daughter of the late Adolph and Margaret A. Marino (nee Kertesz) passed away on November 5, 2021. She was a proud resident of Merrick for over 60 years. She was the loving wife of William (Bill) Appel who preceded her in death and the dear mother of Bill Jr. (Karin), Glenn (Lindsay), Doug and Greg (Ann Marie). Peggy was the beloved grandmother of GlennJr., W. Paul lll, Seth, Sara, Allison, Meghan, Jonathan, Alex and Lilly.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 13 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Entombment will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery,
Visiting will be Friday, November 12 from 2-4 PM& 7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to ASPCA would be appreciated.
