Caroline Cacossa, passed away on September 13, 2017 at the age of 79. Carol was the loving wife of Francis Cacossa for over 57 years, and the loving mother of Francis Cacossa, Carla Diamontopulos (Mario), Paula Cacossa,of Claredon Hills Ill., Cindy Mancini (Vincent) and grandmother to Brittany, Evan, Tommy, Laura, Noah, Brandon and Madison and a special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Carol was born, raised and married in Brooklyn, NY Carol lived and took care of her family with her husband in their house in Merrick for almost 50 years. Carol treasured her family, loved to cook, enjoyed watching cooking shows and sending out her infamous and special greeting cards to her loved ones for the holidays and special occasions. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10:15 am on Saturday, September 23 at Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 720 North Merrick Avenue, North Merrick, NY Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury Calling hours will be Friday, September 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. .
