He was a Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War era. Retired Printing Specialist for the U.S. Government Federal Printing Office in New York City.
Beloved husband of the late Winifred Mauro. Devoted father of Terry Johanson ( Gus ), Susan Keegan ( Keith ) and the late Anthony R. Mauro Jr. ( Susan ). Loving Grandfather of Michael Mauro, Cody Mauro, Brian Keegan, Tyler Keegan and Chris Johanson.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY Interment with Navy Honors Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Visiting will be Sunday, November 13 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
