Marilyn Ruth Guevara, 79, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on July 1, 2016, in Florida. Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, NY to Richard and Louise Ryan on November 15, 1936. She worked as a legal secretary until she retired. Marilyn loved her family and pets, car racing, puzzles, knitting, crocheting and all crafts. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Fausto; daughter Susan Battaglia; son in law, Joseph Battaglia, 2 grandchildren, Marissa and Jeannine; cousin Ruth & John McCloud & family; nieces Meredith Ryan and Wendy Ryan. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Ryan, and sister in law, Constance Ryan Services will be held 7:30 pm on Sunday, July 10 at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY with Rev. Laurie Cline officiating. Funeral in Monday July 12, 2016 at 9:30AM. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.. Visiting will be Sunday, July 10 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. .
