Leonard C. Jaworowski Jr., age 70, of North Merrick Merrick died Saturday, February 21, 2015 He served in the Air Force during the the Vietnam War Era from 1966 to 1969. Retired mechanic for the New York City Transit Authority. Beloved husband of Corrine nee Spinnelli. Devoted father of John Jaworowski (Lorraine) and Leonard C. Jaworowski, III (Gina). Dear brother of Katherine Olkowski, Frances Kelly and Barbara Shields. Loving grandfather of Leonardo and Lola. A Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 9:45AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church 720 Merrick Avenue North Merrick. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 25 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home,2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of New York 45-18 Court Square Suite 500 L.I. City, NY 11101 Appreciated. .
