Margaret Fischer, age 97, formerly of Bayside NY died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Cliffside Nursing Home of Flushing, NY. Mrs. Fischer was born 1916 in the Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late Albertus and the late Anna (Igoe) Wagner. She is the loving wife of the late Valentine F. Fischer.
She is survived by her loving daughter Melinda E. Als and her husband Edward, dear grand son Stephen and her dear sister Rhoda Lowry.
She was last employed by Edward A. Viner & Co. NYNY as a Telephone Operator .
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, September 29 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY.
