Robert Joseph Goohs, Sr., age 78, Merrick, NY died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at home in North Merrick. Mr. Goohs was born August 25, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Albert and the late Josephine (Gallgher) Goohs. He married PatriciaGoohs.
He served in the Army from 19AUG1960 to 17AUG1962. He was employed by City Of New York D.E.P. as a Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia and his loving children.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, September 15 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Monday, September 15 at 12:00 pm.
Calling hours will be Saturday, September 13 from 2-4 7-9PM and Sunday, September 14 from 2-4 7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
