Elizabeth G. Lamb, age 94, of 696 North Erie Avenue, Lindenhurst died Friday, September 5, 2014 at Meadowbrook Care Center of Freeport, NY. Mrs. Lamb was born November 27, 1919 in Minneapolis, MN. She is the daughter of the late Thomas W and the late Grace M (Witchie) Gavin, Sr.. She was predeceased by her husband the Late Elmo K. Lamb on December 18, l983. She was employed by Saks Fifth Avenue, Garden City NY as Manager of the Gift Shop. She is survived by one daughter: Candace Stevens of Lindenhurst, NY and two sons: Kevin Lamb, Terence (Mary) Lamb; ; She also has three grandchildren, . granddaughter, Julie Stevens-Radtke; granddaughter, Christie Stevens-Linich; Grandson, James Patrick Lamb; Great Grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan & Grace Radtke; and Daniel Linich. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 am on Monday, September 8 at Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 720 North Merrick Avenue, North Merrick, NY . Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury on Monday, September 8 at 11:15 am. Calling hours will be Sunday, September 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. .
